Spring Party - Sneak Peek

This afternoon, the party prep began...

I'm sooo excited!  I've had so many thoughts and ideas running through my head these past few days and nights! :)

Tomorrow it will all be in place!

Not 1 but 2

Well, I succeeded in my goal of starting and finishing a project...

and I ended up making two!

Now, I've started on a third with some old yarn and knitting needles, which I think were my Great Aunt's.

While Sitting and Knitting...

I had not picked up my knitting needles for... well, let's just say a long time!

So, over Spring Break I have decided to attempt to actually start and finish a very small knitting project!

This gave me some time to just sit and think.

I thought about how much patience it would take to make a blanket - wow, I admire the work put into those!

I thought about how, back in the "olden days," they used to knit gifts for each other and I wondered how they could make so many and still keep it somewhat a surprise.

I thought about how much I want to decorate and bake for a Spring Party with pretty pastels and flowers and little treats...

And I thought to myself over and over again "Just one more row..." until I had almost finished the project!

The other day, I was looking at the Ludy's website (here) and decided to watch this video, reminiscing about our wonderful trip to Colorado last spring...
